Artist Statement

Users and games are one of the basic applications everywhere, whether online or offline. The great spectacle of competition creates an inner thirst to come on top. For those who are familiar with the sport in T3, feel in tune with every move being played while watching the abstract lights turning green or red.  For those who are not familiar with it, much like not being familiar with any other sport, will not perceive the piece as it was intended and come up with their own conclusions.

Synopsis

The main focus of the T3 is to create an enjoyable game of Tic Tac Toe, and have the information from the game displayed on an abstract light arrangement on a canvas in another location.  It is intended to give the users a unique and more complex aspect of the simple Tic Tac Toe game more usually played with a piece of paper and pen.

User Experience

The objective of this piece was to creating an experience for two users playing a simple game of Tic Tac Toe. The game play is relayed through the network to another station, re-interpreting the information in an artistic arrangement.  These two pieces are connected over the network and on their own create a different experience to the users present.
